I have 14 years of experience in education, including the past three years as an assistant principal at Ranchview High School and Dan F. Long Middle School. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Before moving into campus leadership, I spent nine impactful years at Long Middle School, teaching eighth grade math and coaching athletics. During that time, I was honored as Campus Teacher of the Year and earned the TIA Master Teacher designation.
I hold a Bachelor in Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, both of which have prepared me to lead with integrity, empathy, and high expectations.
I am passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and I believe collaboration is essential to student success. I look forward to continuing to serve our school community and helping every student reach their full potential.
With 23 years of experience in education, I am proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at Vivian Field Middle School. Over the course of my career, I have taught middle school for 13 years and held roles as a reading interventionist and instructional coach. I am a student-centered leader who is passionate about creating an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom to two amazing children. I enjoy traveling, reading, and cooking in my free time. I truly believe that the students and staff at Vivian Field are the best in the state, and I’m honored to be part of this incredible school community.
My name is Sean Walker and I am so excited to serve as your Assistant Principal at Vivian Field Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. I earned my B.A. in Physics from Texas A&M in 2013, and my M. Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UT Arlington in 2021. Before getting into administration, I served at Ranchview High School as a Physics Teacher for 11 years, and I have had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal at Ranchview for the last two years. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and I currently have a 4-year old son and three cats at home. In my spare time, I enjoy watching anime and relaxing with my family.
I believe in helping students grow by challenging them and providing high expectations both inside and outside of the classroom. The knowledge and experiences our students gain at Field Middle School will prepare them for high school and set the foundation for the rest of their educational journey. My goal for this year is to support all students to become the best version of themselves that they can.
